I've written many posts about the plight of Our Lions, Jasiri and Lulu, and Our remaining Chimpanzees, which is now down to the two boys Qadeer and Nick.
These links run from most recent, which focuses on The City funding new enclosures for both species, so they can stay at Our Zoo, to last year when the news regarding Our Chimpanzees was announced.
If you only read one, read this one....

I used to use (search) labels, but too often forget. I started noting "Hot Topic" in title, but fell lax on that. Now I'm just going to add labels, keywords, etc., here at the bottom with hashtags. Does it help in searches, who knows.

*Thank you for your comment. All comments are appreciated. In the past fourteen years, I have replied to almost every comment. In recent years I have found it hard to keep committed to that. Publishing 950+ posts, has taken almost 6000 hrs. That's over a year of full-time work. So, moving forward, I can't guarantee a reply. Please use the comments to have your voice heard. If you have a question I can answer, I will endeavor to do that.
