I am so glad to see the glass going up at Mandrills. People should never have been this close to red alert animals. Gosh, people had been dangling kids and people have been over barriers trying to get good photos and the risk of their safety and especially the animals being at risk. I think it's your blogging that got this taken care of but whatever the reason they finally acted on this....GLAD TO SEE IT.
ReplyDelete@Lee- Thank you for you comment. .. Thank you for pointing out that these are red alert Animals. While I think all the Animals for THEIR safety should be behind glass, as you pointed out, there are some Animals that are more of a threat to Humans if misbehavior takes place and those Animals should always be unbreachable. ... Thank you for thinking I played a part. I do hope that by posting awareness on these issues things get taken care of there, but who knows. I still haven't gotten to my New Yrs post, but it was about barriers. Thankful now we don't have to go another yr of every visit seeing people hang over the barrier there. Now maybe they can do something about poor Angelos home.
