New > UPDATE Zoo Can ReOpen Thursday! ... State Lifts Stay At Home - Zoo Should Open???

News Flash ... Governor Newsom Lifts California Stay At Home Orders

The mandates now revert back to County level and the colored tier system. That said it would seem even if San Francisco fell into the Purple tier, the Zoo SHOULD be allowed to ReOpen.

Per this article Outdoor Dining can resume.  But considering the unjustified allowances that favored other places over the Zoo, who knows. 

Mayor Breed will have a press conference today at 1:15p 

Hoping for good news.  Crossing my fingers.  The Zoo needs the funds and I need the Zoo to diffuse the weights of this Pandemic.  

Looking forward to seeing the faces of these two beautiful ladies and all the Zoo Friends!

Update:  Per Mayor Breed, the Zoo can ReOpen Thursday (Jan 28, 2021)!  ... No word from the Zoo as yet.  Watch the Socials, as this will be my last update about this.
