At one point several years ago, I started adding the words HOT TOPIC in front of certain post titles on this blog. It was an effort for high priority subjects to be easily accessed using the search option. I thought it might be helpful especially for new readers. Unfortunately, I never kept that up.
With the amount of posts that I think contain vital information in regards to the climate of the Zoo in the News these past six months, going back through and adding the words HOT TOPIC, just isn't something I'm going to do.
There are certain subjects I've posted about that I think are currently of higher importance than others. I'll list them here as Keywords to Search, and add to the list if I later think I've missed something.
Subjects:
Orangutans, Pandas, Bison, Coyotes, Barriers, Madagascar, Fundraising, Perimeter Fence, Gardens, Art Installations,
Entities:
Director Tanya Peterson, Zoological Society Board, Rec and Park, RecPark, Commissioners, Mayor London Breed, Joint Zoo Committee, AZA, Activists

I used to use (search) labels, but too often forget. I started noting "Hot Topic" in title, but fell lax on that. Now I'm just going to add labels, keywords, etc., here at the bottom with hashtags. Does it help in searches, who knows.
