KGO News Tackles My Coyote Murder Story On Tonights News- (Non-SFZoo)

I've mentioned to some and possibly even in random recent posts, that I've been working on a non-Zoo related Animal project.  I've had to keep this underwraps until now.  While I have posted much about the subject, the only post I've made since the start of this project was the most recent.

The Horror Of The City's Coyotes Preying On Pets - (Non-SFZoo)

https://iamnotananteater.blogspot.com/2024/10/the-horror-of-citys-coyotes-preying-on.html?m=1

Previous to that one, I posted five other posts about the Coyote Murders at the Botanical Gardens. Starting with what happened and with my feelings about the Murders, and whole event, including correspondence I had with SF RecPark.  My last post referenced information I had read from another source.  What I didn't document was the information I personally received via Requested Documents from several departments.

As I did express in those posts was how horrified I was with how Officials "handled" the Coyotes, what I learned in the Documents was even more horrifying and disturbing.  I felt there needed to be some Justice.  I needed to see what I could do on a wider level, to expose what really happened, as opposed to what the public was told.  Officials needed to be held accountable for not being transparent with The City's residents.

I wrote this post early today, as I knew the News Story was airing today, but I didn't know which broadcast.  I planned to publish when I got that information, but in the late afternoon time frame I wasn't available, I missed the heads-up!  So, just sitting down as it was literally done airing.  I havent even seen it yet!  I'll make a post with a link to the archive of the story, which I've been told should be available by 9p.  As well, it will be repeated on the KGO Digital show tomorrow at 5:30p and over the weekend.

Thank you to Dan Noyes from our local ABC News Station KGO, for caring about this story.  Some might remember, Dan helped me Save Our Zoo Chimps, when I contacted him about their plight.  He did their Story, which was integral to the outcome of them not being kicked out of the Zoo by Director Tanya Peterson, and getting a new home there built.  I'm thankful that he listens to all my stories, and is able to find some he can produce into a News piece.  His platform is essential to these Stories reaching the masses.

Please try and see the Story either at one of the times I've posted or on the archived link when it becomes available on their site and in the next blog post.   If you're inclined, please share with your social media networks.  The awareness for these issues matters.

I used to use (search) labels, but too often forget.  I started noting "Hot Topic" in title, but fell lax on that.  Now I'm just going to add labels, keywords, etc., here at the bottom with hashtags.  Does it help in searches, who knows.
