*Thank you for your comment. All comments are appreciated. In the past fourteen years, I have replied to almost every comment. In recent years I have found it hard to keep committed to that. Publishing 950+ posts, has taken almost 6000 hrs. That's over a year of full-time work. So, moving forward, I can't guarantee a reply. Please use the comments to have your voice heard. If you have a question I can answer, I will endeavor to do that.

The Management Entity for Our Zoo is the SF Zoological Society. They do not want to hear from the public and provide no way to contact them.
Nice pictures! They look so playful but bitie, of course.
ReplyDeleteI heard an interesting podcast from Science Friday about pollution in Alaska. The cost of importing everything incurs a cost on fuel oil and so people end up burning wood just to stay warm and it creates more pollution in some cases as China's recent hazardous levels! Who would have thought that Alaska, last frontier, has THAT much pollution! This of course has an effect on the climate there and hence habitat for polar bears and pretty much everything.
@Michael Groob- Thank you for your comment and insight regarding current environmental issues. No one person can gather all thats out there to learn themselves, so I'm grateful to you and others that share your knowledge. I'm glad to have created a forum to do that. ... Happy you liked the pix! They are Pretty Girls and yes probably a bit bitey!
DeleteHappy Polar Bear Day to my two alltime favorite Polar Bears, Pike Poo and Uls...... They are beautiful and incredible. The zoo should have done it up Big Time for these girls. They have kept the visitors charmed for over 30 yrs, quite a milestone. Love the photos!!!! I love you Pike and Uls..... many many many many more Polar Days to come!!!!!!!!
